4.2.3.2. Commands of the Async Interface(PSTN Modem)

Configuration Mode

In the Async interface configuration mode, the user needs to define a certain

interface before Async modem starting configuration. AP160 supports one(1)

PSTN modem Async modem interface.

Entering the async modem parameter setting mode:

Ap160 (config)# interface async 0 <cr>

Commands Description

backup backup parameter setting

modem Modem control configuration.

encapsulation Setting encapsulation type of interface

ppp PPP parameter setting commands

Commands Description

delay Delays before backup line up or down transitions.

idle-timeout

Specific the numbers of idle second before a call is

disconnect.

interface Configure an interface as a backup.
